for the outstanding support it provides its
students. We provide a range of support
that is tailored to suit the needs of each
individual student and we are committed
to providing an inclusive education
that ensures every student is given the
opportunity to achieve their full potential.
The Additional Learning Support team works
alongside tutors to ensure that the individual
needs of all students are identified and met,
including support for students with Special
Educational Needs/Disability (SEND). We
support all students to become independent
and give them the tools they need to
succeed at college and in life.
Support can range for Supported Study
Sessions to enhance independent learning,
access arrangements in exams, to in-class 1:1
support for students with Educational, Health
and Care Plans (EHCPs).
In addition, the College provides a Health
and Wellbeing Service, which offers drop-in
or 1:1 support with matters such as anxiety,
exam stress, wellbeing etc. There are also a
range of Wellbeing Enrichment Groups that
students can join, as well as Peer Mentoring
and a College Counselling service.
The College also offers Studentship Support
Sessions designed to support any student
with developing their skills to be an effective
learner in a sixth form college environment.
